Always make copies of your files before you are editing them
or make a full backup of your site before you make changes to your site
you can´t never know when an error occurs !!! it is easy to make something wrong !!!

If something goes wrong replace your copy of files or restore your full backup
and your site is up and goes again :D

vldmods can´t assumes no liability if something goes wrong then you are editing your files ...

I agree with you 100%

Having a regular backup plan is a good idea, but one that most are negligent about.

A backup is essential before making any serious modifications or changes to your system or database.

Some people have trouble moving between hosts, and trying to use the automatically generated backup files produced by cPanel.

If something goes wrong, and you have a backup it's oh so simple to restore your system to where it was, but without one you could be completely lost.

If you plan to install a mod., alter your template, or just tinker with your files, there is no excuse for doing this without a backup.
