i want use get_date function and insert time ago Alternative date in latest blog (in home page) like last friends activities(http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/8/blog/view/215/) how i can ?

You can query the database to get the date of a members last login - this is stored in table <prefix>members (typically vld_members) as field lastvisit.
The current date/time - lastlogin = how long since last visit

There is also a PHP function date_diff which will return the difference between two dates.

Playing around with these will give you a start.
