One day I opened up my site to look at the generated source code behind it.
I was amazed to see how many empty image alt tags there were, an amazingly high number.
Open up one your VLD site pages, view the source, and count how many empty tags you have.
Each and every one can be replaced.
What's an image alt text anyway?
Simply, its the text that gets displayed if your image can't be loaded.
Far more importantly, it's a place where words relevant keywords can be placed, without breaking the search engine rules.
Using keywords or phrases in alt text is a legitimate method to help with SEO and placement.
When I saw how many empty tags I had, which meant how many lost chances for a keyword, I was literally dumbstruck. Not only that there were so many, but that this hadn't been picked up before, by Vlad, or anyone.
So what does this mod do?
It takes the list of keywords you've entered in your Control Panel, and selects one at random to place in each and every empty alt tag.
The important thing here too is that they are chosen at random, so no two page loads will have the same keywords in the same spot (unless you have a really tiny amount of keywords, which wouldn't be a good start anyway).
Don't limit yourself to just a few keywords for your METATAG, out in all that you need, and the mod. will pick one at random.

There are plenty of links there so you can check the validity and worth of having keywords in your alt tags.
Ok, there's actually one I don't bother about, because it's the alt tag for one of the system icons, but other than that, each and every image tag in your template can have extra punch, not only through having a keyword there, but a different one every time.
